Collection: Soft But Sturdy Beadwork

Kaytlyn Nadjiwon (née Giaccone) is a queer mixed Ojibwe/Italian beadwork artist who was born and raised as a guest on unceded unsurrendered Algonquin territory (Ottawa, Ontario). She learned to bead in 2018 from a close friend, but she’s found safety and comfort in art all her life. She particularly loves working with soft, subdued colour palettes and incorporating florals and plants in her beadwork, especially when using traditional materials like home tanned moose hide. When she’s not beading you can catch her snuggling her two kitties or rewatching teen romcoms!
